Beach Haven is the most well known of all the towns on the Island. Founded in 1874 as a family-oriented seashore resort, Beach Haven maintains the character of a wholesome late 19th century coastal vacation town. There are many restored Victorian homes in the historic district, lots of boutiques and shopping areas, good restaurants and plenty to do. Bay Village and Schooner's Wharf, along with the family-friendly Fantasy Island Amusement Park, Thundering Surf Water Slide and the Surf Light Theater are all in Beach Haven.

                                        The North End
